We are looking for a Global Media Account Executive across the Breitling House of Brands at T&P / WPP Media.

Global Client Account Executive – Breitling Global

Skills and Experience

This is a critical role and great opportunity to help support the Global team across the recently won Breitling Global Media Account. https://www.breitling.com

In this role you will be an active support resource across our Global Breitling Hub team which includes Client Leadership, Planning, Digital, Analytics reporting and general admin.

 It’s essential that you possess resilience/ ambition/ passion with a can-do attitude

Breitling have a presence in over 48 countries across the world.

They are one of the fastest growing watchbands globally, they have BIG ambitions for growth. Recently Breitling became the official supplier of the NFL, they are a key named sponsor of Aston Martin Formular One team and have the likes of Austin Butler (Actor), Erling Haarland (Football) Giannis Antetokounmpo (Basketball), Kelly Slater (Surfer) and Charlize Theron (Actor) as their current Brand ambassadors.

We will ensure that you are well trained on all our WPP / T&P Ai tools and systems (more on this below), we’ll immerse you into the exciting world of luxury watches,  our media industry more broadly across Online (Search, Social, Programmatic, Connected TV) all of the off line channels such as Outdoor, Print and you will get to work with other stakeholders/ partners / agencies in PR, Events, Creative & Production.

Ideally you already have a keen interest in Media, Digital and Marketing communications already. Being busy is motivating and exciting. This role is a springboard into our world and your long-term career success.

Working as Account Executive on the Breitling Account

  • We will work with Breitling across 4 x Priority markets we call Tier 1 - UK, USA, Germany and Switzerland, all these markets have local teams on the ground in each country, we will also support Breitling across a further 30+ local markets which are mainly 100% centrally delivered digitally through our WPP Digital Hub team ( limited local market contact will be required in these Tier 2 markets). However, we will work across all of them as and when required.

What do you do?

  • As you’re new to agency life and at the beginning of your career in media as an executive. You 'll be super keen to learn about how we do things here, get a grasp of our processes and find out how we relate/ engage and communicate to our clients. We anticipate that you’ll typically be learning the ropes by overseeing business-as-usual tasks in the team, alongside owning smaller projects.

What do your responsibilities look like?

  • You will only be responsible for yourself at the beginning of your journey with us; your role is to be a trusted support  for the wider teams.
  • We understand that it’s a full-time job taking everything in, so you will be working under the supervision of your manager and the Global Account Leader.

This is what your job entails:

  • Working closely with your manager and supporting the team on all day-to-day tasks including planning, reporting, financial reconciliation, and billing.
  • Staying in constant contact with the relevant internal teams e.g. Local Markets and specialisms such as our Biddable Hub, Reservation & Partnerships to ensure all day-to-day needs are being met and tasks are being completed to deadline and specification
  • Taking ownership of Breitling weekly status documents, attending some meetings with clients, precisely managing, and updating project trackers, Purchase Order/ financial trackers etc.
  • Owning key sections or information within (RTB Response to Brief) or PCAs (Post Campaign Analysis) along with Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) – e.g. helping with consumer / target audience analysis, campaign delivery– to show key planning skills
  • Connecting with various media owners to gain a good knowledge of the marketplace and source information/ ideas from them
  • Proactively building up your knowledge of relevant Global market landscapes and nuances
  • Establishing relationships with team members centrally and locally with our Tier 1 (USA, UK, DE and CH) to build rapport and confidence day to day.
  • Working with your manager or the Account lead to monitor and manage deadlines and deliverables across the network
  • Helping to ensure our mediaplans are accurate, uploaded into the clients sales force instance
  • Ensuring we have supplied the correct material specifications and delivery details for the Breitling production team in advance of a campaign going live.

  • Most of your work will be carrying out tasks and adhering to processes, as you develop in to the next level (aka Manager) you will be able to more actively influence process improvements, that said, we consider you a key member of the team and welcome your voice in all ways you think we can be better, more efficient and improve processes.... working smarter not harder.

What skills do you need?

  • Firstly, we want your passion, energy, and a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Curiosity and genuine interest in marketing and media, benefit for you to have a keen interest or appreciation of the luxury, fashion, and watch industry.
  • Ability to listen to instructions and interpret tasks correctly, and receive feedback / guidance that will help you grow and thrive
  • Proactive management of to-do lists and extra tasks that come from it
  • Accuracy – for reporting, audience analysis, and finance in particular
  • Client contact etiquette – e.g. professional manner in all communication
  • Development of planning skills to make informed recommendations
  • Ability to understand the role of different media channels in the media mix, and the media owners within them
  • The ability to work with a host of individuals and teams across the network

 

What training is there?

  • You will learn from a wide range of people with differing backgrounds and skills. Also allows you to actively build relationships with a wide variety of people and work with clients in a range of industries.
  • You will become a super-user of all key tools for planning, reporting and competitor monitoring including:
    • WPP Open – our world class Ai powered product suite.
    • Audience & Insights tools – e.g. YouGov, TGI, Statista, WARC plus many others.
    • Finance/ Billing / Reconciliation
    • Sourcing Intelligence from Media owners and marketplace dynamics as they evolve.
    • Competitor reporting -e.g. AdDynamix, social listening
    • Exposure to Brand Health studies and Econometric modelling (we have experts for this but is interesting)
    • Prioritisation/time management/ keeping the wider team informed
    • IPA Foundation Certificate
