For this position, you take much higher and wider level of responsibility in the planning and buying delivery of AV campaigns across your Client(s), including the delivery of audits / PRFs and managing the AV strategy across your clients. You are trusted to produce accurate work and prioritise tasks with minimum supervision.
Role Summary and Impact
Core Responsibilities:
- Delivering media buying commitments across multiple clients who work with different auditors and methodologies, regular internal reporting and problem solving. Must be experienced in working with media auditors
- Ownership of all day to day buying delivery through being both hands on and supervising line report(s) to ensure:
- All buying metrics are hit – campaign objectives, deal parameters and client commitments
- Processes and admin are adhered to including approvals (on time), book moves, TV value monitoring and reporting, spend checks, reconciliations, 3rd party tagging & tracking delivery and all financial admin is correc
- Developing annual, quarterly and campaign-based AV strategies across multiple clients, you will have to:
- Justify the presence of linear TV on a schedule, understand the power of TV in helping clients to achieve their business objectives
- Justify the presence of Video on Demand on a schedule, have a good understanding of this fast-moving area
- Be able to consider and evaluate the relative merits of different campaign options including for example, Channel mix, TV flighting, Targeting, Time-length etc.
- Be able to present post-campaign analyses of buying results and refer-back to objectives defined at the planning stage, subsequently incorporating learnings into the future planning
- From time to time, you will be required to present elements of the AV strategy as part of new business pitches
- Team management: You are responsible for ensuring the high standards of work and attitude in the team by:

- Motivating the team to deliver against this high base
- Proving guidance with prioritisation so deadlines are always met
- Coach your team in all aspects of the role including managing goal setting and feedback
The Candidate
- Must have extensive / relevant experience working in AV team within a media agency.
