Role Summary and Impact 

As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for Paid Search (SEM), Senior Manager, who will:

  • Develop strong relationships with counterparts in GroupM regional teams (Europe, U.S., Asia)
  • Lead the training and growth of your local Search team
  • Enforce Search best practices with a focus on platform expertise, consistency, and quality of work delivery
  • Be accountable for consistent work delivery to GroupM regional teams by ensuring a high quality of output
  • Serve as point of escalation for your channel and take ownership of resolving challenges
  • Provide career development and coaching for your Search team
  • Line manage 2-5 direct reports
  • Provide timely and actionable feedback to the team to aid in their development, improvement, and progress. Provide awareness and recognition for jobs well done
  • Present strong and effective communication across all levels 

 Skills and Experience 

If this opportunity looks right for you, we are looking for candidates who have:  

  • Experience & Scale: A minimum of 7-8 years in Paid Search, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a network agency environment. Proven track record of overseeing enterprise-level clients with multi-million budgets.
  • Leadership Structure: Experience not just in managing teams, but managing other managers/team leads (structure of 10+ FTEs). Ability to drive career development plans, retention strategies, and resource allocation.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated success in designing and implementing operational workflows for centralized hubs. Experience in driving efficiency through automation, scripting, or AI-based solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Tech Stack Mastery: Advanced expertise in the full Google Marketing Platform stack (SA360, Google Ads, GA4) is a must. Familiarity with other media platforms, media planning principles or feed management tools is a strong plus.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional capability in managing relationships with global stakeholders (Client Leads, Local Markets). Experience in handling escalations, negotiating scope of work (SOW), and managing expectations in a matrix organization.
  • Strategic & Analytical: Ability to translate raw data into business-critical insights. Experience in auditing accounts for quality assurance and identifying growth opportunities to maximize client investment.
  • Communication: Fluent English is non-negotiable. Strong presentation skills – ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical senior stakeholders.

The gross salary for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. This range reflects our broader group’s compensation framework across diverse agencies and disciplines. For this specific role, our offer will be determined within this range based on our internal benchmark, reflecting the specific market conditions for our discipline. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.

In addition to the salary range provided, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' well-being and professional growth.
