Role Summary and Impact

WPP Media Hong Kong is seeking a motivated and solutions-focused Assistant Manager, Client Development to support the growth and adoption of our media solutions. Reporting to the Director, Media Solutions, you will be responsible for evangelizing WPP Media's solutions to client leaders and clients, building strong relationships, and identifying new revenue opportunities. This role is a key contributor to our sales efforts and plays a significant part in ensuring our clients derive maximum value from our product offerings.

 

Core Responsibilities:

Solutions Evangelism & Sales: Proactively evangelize WPP Media's solutions and products to client leaders and direct clients to drive adoption and new revenue streams.

Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for incremental investment from existing clients and support the establishment of quarterly investment plans.

Client & Internal Client Leadership Team Education: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to educate internal client leadership team and clients on new solutions, product releases, and industry points of view.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal client leadership team and client stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact for media solutions.

New Business Support: Assist in new business pitches by providing strategic planning advice and insights on how WPP Media solutions can address campaign briefs and business needs.

Product Development Feedback: Consolidate and communicate feedback from internal client leadership team and clients to inform the ongoing development and improvement of our product roadmap.

Commercial & Contractual: Support the process of obtaining contractual sign-ups to establish formal business relationships with clients.

 

Skills and Experience

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the digital media industry.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.

  • Experience in maintaining client relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Proven ability to work with data and numbers; logical reasoning skills.

  • Experience in delivering on revenue targets or other measurable business objectives.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Fluency in English and Cantonese is highly preferred.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a digital sales or client-based campaign planning role.

  • Knowledge of the online media market, including key dynamics and competitive landscape.

  • Experience working across multiple industry categories.

  • Familiarity with WPP Media's brands, solutions, and capabilities.
