WPP Media adopts a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for our Agencies and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.
We are currently looking for a Executive Buying to join us.
In this role, your duties will be varied and challenging. You will be responsible for the implementation and execution of traditional (TV, Non-TV & Non-biddable Digital) media campaigns.

This role reports to the WPP Media Non-Biddable Buying Team Lead
In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

Gained media knowledge across various platforms
-
Well versed on the proprietary & industry tools within the agency
In six months:
-
Proficient and confident in daily media buying and implementation activities
-
Managed campaign with guidance from peers or supervisor to ensure seamless execution
In 12 months:

Independently execute traditional media campaigns (such as TV, radio, OOH, Cinema and Non-Biddable Digital) for the assigned portfolio of clients

Proactively propose media solutions to drive effective results for the business
What your day job looks like:

Buying/ implementation of all campaigns upon receipt of signed IB, media plan / schedule

Prepare detailed TV / Radio spots schedule

Material copy requisition/media diary/copy instruction & extending material deadlines
-
Request for proof of delivery/posting/execution/screenshots
-
Post-buy analysis & reporting (TV & NB Digital)

Monitor contractual obligations and media spends

Reconciliation of schedules and 3rd party invoice disputes (to work together with Agency Planner)

Accountability for buying efficiency

Negotiation of annual media master contracts, deals or packages

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent diploma in disciplines such as STEM, Mass Communications, Advertising/Media, Business Studies or relevant experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel

Proactive, collaborative, and possess a “can-do” attitude
