Corporate Attorney - REMOTE

We are working with a well‑established, national law firm that is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their Corporate group based out of Southern California. The Corporate Attorney will serve a variety of clientele and industries including entertainment, music, television, media, health & wellness, sports, fashion, start‑ups, and more.

Location: Remote, must live in the Los Angeles/Orange County area.

Base Salary Range: $170k–$190k per year, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, document, and manage various transactions.
• Provide strategic business and legal advice to clients on general legal matters.
• Advise clients on legal rights, contractual responsibilities, and other matters arising from various agreements.
• Advise on changes in the law with respect to restrictive covenants as they relate to employment.
• Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships with regular, effective and timely communications concerning deal negotiation and business strategy.
• Contribute to internal and departmental process development and management, as well as deal‑making resources.

Requirements

• J.D. with strong academic performance and membership in good standing with the New York bar (California bar also desired).
• 5+ years of transactional corporate law experience.
• Experience with intellectual property rights and exploitation, risk mitigation, contract drafting, corporate governance, financing, indemnification, restructuring, and fundraising.
• Expertise with respect to corporate formation and start‑up activities, contract review, negotiations, and intellectual property law.
