ABOUT THE ROLE
Techno is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex waterfront infrastructure project in New York City involving structural rehabilitation, marine construction, and public realm improvements. This role will oversee construction-phase execution through project closeout, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations.
You will serve in a key leadership capacity, coordinating construction management teams and interfacing directly with clients, contractors, and agency representatives. This position is ideal for someone with experience managing large-scale public infrastructure or waterfront projects who can drive performance across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead overall project execution, including schedule management, budget tracking, and deliverable oversight
- Serve as the primary liaison between client, contractor, and project stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate construction management staff, including Resident Engineers and inspection teams
- Monitor project risks, track milestones, and implement cost control measures
- Review contract documents, change orders, and contractor payment applications for accuracy and compliance
- Facilitate project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder coordination efforts
- Oversee project reporting, documentation, and communication across all parties
- Ensure construction activities align with contract requirements, agency standards, and project objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 8+ years of project management experience on infrastructure, marine, or waterfront construction projects
- Experience managing structural rehabilitation, coastal, or waterfront improvements strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices, contract administration, and project controls
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a construction environment
- CCM or PE certification preferred but not required
- Prior experience working with NYCEDC or similar public-sector agencies is highly desirable

The expected salary range for this role in the New York City Metropolitan Area is $85 - $105 per hour. The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process
