Job Synopsis
Corporate Account Director – Market Access (Remote). Candidates may reside anywhere in the United States. This role requires up to 50% domestic travel.
Major Responsibilities
- Lead Zinc and Caremark‑PCS commercial contracts and partner with the CVS Health team to execute access negotiations for Migraine, CNS, GI, Women’s Health, Oncology, and Established Brands portfolios.
- Meet AbbVie and Brand Team access, reimbursement and financial objectives, achieving profitable gross‑to‑net ratios and efficient access to medications for patients and physicians.
- Strengthen the strategic relationship between AbbVie and critical payer customers.
- Support and enhance the strength of the Corporate Account team, elevating team knowledge and advancing strategic thinking.
- Integrate cross‑functional team members and competencies into the payer team, building a focused mindset and seamless work product across the group.
- Develop and provide insights, analyses and options for internal stakeholders (Market Access, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Medical and Supply Chain).
- Coordinate closely with other members of the Corporate Account team to ensure consistency of approach and apply learnings broadly.
- Establish and maintain close ties with medical personnel, ensuring compliant teamwork and maximizing the effect of AbbVie’s overall approach to payers.
- Manage timely and accurate communication flow throughout the organization.
- Show personal accountability for achieving goals and support other aspects of Market Access and AbbVie operations as necessary.
Qualifications
- 7‑10 years of Market Access experience with Account Management experience preferred; cross‑functional experience in Sales, Finance, Contracting valued.
- Proven ability to meet tight timelines and deliver on commitments.
- Strong executive presence and ability to connect with diverse individuals, customers and teams.
- Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills.
- Confidence and agility to influence internal and external stakeholders at critical moments, challenging assumptions appropriately.
- Ability to anticipate changes in reimbursement or payer behavior in time for solution development.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payer dynamics, supply and distribution chain.
- BA or BS degree required.
- Ability to travel 20‑30%.
- Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing; must be in good standing to obtain credentials.
- Must own a personal auto or company vehicle; valid driver’s license, be able to pass pre‑employment drug screening and meet safe drive requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation range: base salary commensurate with job grade; paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), long‑term incentive programs.
- Actual compensation will depend on geographic location and other factors; may be higher or lower than the posted range.
