Senior Data Consultant - REMOTE

Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer - REMOTE. This role has a significant impact on shaping the data architecture and analytics capabilities for our clients. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting‑edge data environments in cloud settings. The role requires hands‑on engineering skills to create robust data pipelines and ensure the secure handling of vast datasets. You'll collaborate with dynamic project teams to meet shifting client needs while fostering an inclusive culture of innovation. Accountabilities

• Design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor data processing systems
• Create robust and automated pipelines to ingest and process structured and unstructured data
• Implement custom applications using tools such as Kinesis and Lambda for streaming use cases
• Engineer and support data structures including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Maintain ELT processes for loading data lakes like Snowflake and Hadoop
• Engineer APIs for data retrieval to Enterprise Applications
• Leverage optimal tools for delivering maintainable and modern data solutions
• Respond to inquiries and assist in troubleshooting
• Collaborate with scrum team members to estimate and deliver work
• Research and resolve data‑related questions while working closely with business users

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional technical experience
• 4+ years in Data Architecture and Data Modelling
• 4+ years building data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake
• 4+ years of experience in programming with Python
• 2+ years in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
• Strong client‑facing communication and facilitation skills
