Lead Software Engineer (REMOTE)

As a key member of the Sales Mode team, you will play a vital role in shaping the systems that drive the transition to clean energy. Accountabilities

• Build new functionality for an industry-leading solar design and sales platform
• Design and maintain APIs ensuring smooth integrations with financial and sales partners
• Develop scalable, secure services focused on long-term performance
• Strengthen agile processes to achieve predictable, high-impact outcomes in sprints
• Mentor teammates to foster a collaborative engineering culture
• Own the services you build, participating in on-call rotations for operational excellence

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building and shipping production software
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Python, with a willingness to learn other languages
• Strong SQL and Postgres fundamentals, with experience in data models and performance
• Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and React
• Interest in working across the tech stack, from database to frontend
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote team environment
