E-Commerce Web Designer

Description

Apply for the E-Commerce Web Designer role at DataAnnotation. We’re looking for a designer to help train and improve advanced AI models that create, assess, and refine digital design work, including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences.

In this role you’ll use your design expertise toEvaluate AI‑generated UI/UX outputs, provide detailed feedback, and help refine the model’s sense of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality. Your insights will directly shape how future AI tools support designers.

This is a growing area for our company focused on teaching AI to better understand visual and design principles. Candidates complete a general core assessment followed by a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design. After approval, you’ll have access to general AI‑training projects and be invited to contribute to design‑specific projects in UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Review and critique AI‑generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
• Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance
• Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user‑centered design

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
• Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
• A current, in‑progress, or completed bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
